Call of Duty 3 is set in 1944 during the famous Normandy Breakout, where the allies stormed France seeking out the Germans and ridding Paris
of their terror. The game sees you in the front-line taking the role of
different soldiers from the countries who made up the allies.
Different tactics and different terrains play a part in how the game pans out,
with training, then actual combat. Combat entails a variety of
artillery battles, search and destroy and shoot’em up phases. Timing and
strategy are vital, as the battles get tougher and tougher as you approach
Paris.
